Since I’ve started hosting my episode on the Women Of Worth TV. It has been an amazing experience thus far. It has most certainly challenged me in so many ways. Since starting my first episode. I’ve been taking viewers inside of my life as a Style Tour Guide, the benefits of going on a tour and what to expect. I decided to take a step back and view Baltimore through the eye’s of a tourist. And if I may say, Baltimore is beautiful!
I did my first episode in the historic Mount Vernon of Baltimore. Mount Vernon has so much richness. It’s called the premier cultural district and when I walk through these historic streets of Baltimore. It always takes my breathe away when I’m gazing at some of th the oldest buildings and the vibrantness of the neighborhoods. . Mount Vernon has some amazing landmarks that paints a beautiful picture of Baltimore. I mean this cute cultural district is the flagship to some places. Like Peabody Institute. The school where Jada Pinkett-Smith and the late Tupac.
I can walk through Mount Vernon and get lost in time. You will always see something intriguing from one block to the next. And what really draws me in . Is the vintage shops! OMG! The Zone which is and has been one of my favorites.Since I was around 13 yrs old. It was was and still is. My mother and I hangout spot. Whether it was to browse and or buy. We always would find a reason to visit Ms. Donna the shop owner. Mount Vernon is also home too some other dope vintage shops. Such as Keeper’s Vintage, a really chic vintage shop. Where men and women vintage clothes is housed. Oh my, I lose myself in this place as well. From playing dress up and taking a buttload of selfies. And I can't forget The Bottle Of Bread. A really cute shop that when you walk through the door. You get a taste of texas and a little boho chic. This is another cool vintage shop. And let's not forget the coolest eateries and cafes.
If you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite. Never on Sunday is the go to place! They’re caesar wraps will have your mouth bursting with flavor and good taste. And if you're looking for a place to collect your thoughts, maybe a lunch date , and or to get some work done Koffee Therapy is all that and a bag of chips!
